Join us as a WTCARES Summer Camp Counselor 2026.

Give your child a vibrant summer filled with discovery, friendship, and active outdoor fun! Designed for youths aged 5 to 13, our local day camp balances academic enrichment with thrilling seasonal activities.
June 29 – August 14, 2026 (7 Comprehensive Weeks)
August 17 – August 28, 2026 (Limited capacity slots available)
Our Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Adventure awaits beyond the neighborhood! Our campers embark on unforgettable excursions, including hands-on scientific discovery at the Liberty Science Center and wild wildlife encounters at the Turtle Back Zoo.

Stay active and beat the heat with regular swimming sessions, visits to local Bayonne parks, and dynamic nature field trips where campers map out and examine local landscapes using a paper map and magnifying glasses.

We keep minds and spirits sharp! Campers dive into interactive music activities, expressive art classes, cooking class with Chef Geneva, and structured academic enrichment to prevent the summer slide and nurture community-minded growth.

At WTCARES, we believe that nurturing our youth takes place both within and far beyond our center's walls. Our baseline mission is to provide an innovative, creative, and community-honoring environment where children aged 5 to 13 from all local Bayonne schools can truly thrive.
We successfully bridge the seasonal gap during school break by maintaining a reliable, life-giving day routine that balances physical enrichment, neighborhood exploration, and focused learning. Whether it’s building critical social skills or participating in optional community outreach initiatives, your child will discover the foundational value of authentic service and citizenship.
